Well we are 10 days into the odyssey, we have logged over 1000 miles in the car and we are all still on good speaking terms! Hazzah!!
Today we logged about 160 km ... our first stop was at the
Blarney Castle . Now essentially there is only one reason to go to the Blarney Castle and that is of course to
kiss the Blarney Stone! ... and being proper tourists ... we made the climb to the top of the castle and kissed the stone ... here are a few pics of our trek and our kisses ...

After we left the castle and headed to Killarney ... we drove down a pretty small road ... and got behind a truck hauling ... uh ... "used" hay ... it was aromatic!!

We arrived in Killarney at our lodging for the night
and walked into the town center for shopping and a bite to eat ...

So we are in for the night and intend to get a VERY early start tomorrow morning as we will be doing the
Ring of Kerry drive tomorrow and then up to Bunratty to attend a
Medieval Feast in the evening. Since we will be late tomorrow night I don't expect to post again until we are in Belfast on Sunday night.
